How do i find the perfect Holiday Villa for me?
We have made every effort to ensure the Thailand Retreats website is as quick & easy to use as possible while still maintaining a wealth of information.
Although Thailand Retreats has one of (if not THE) biggest selection of Holiday Villas in Thailand (and growing every week), it is not very useful if people can't find what they want.
The only way to offer the largest selection of Thailand villas is to arrange them in a way that allows our valued visitors a quick and easy way to find what they're looking for. This is why we have developed an easy to use and powerful search system that gives the control to YOU.
Now you can view the villas YOU want to see, in the order YOU want them, rather than just showing the villas we think you want to see.
Below is a detailed guide to using our website which will help you get the most out of it, and ultimately, find the best villa for YOU.
1. Selecting your preferred Holiday Villa's Location
We recommend following the 2 Steps at the top of the Listings Page by firstly selecting your preferred holiday villa location.
The green tick shows which location the holiday villa listings page is displaying.
You can also click the text underneath the buttons to launch a new window with useful information about that location.
2. Selecting your required number of bedrooms
To make it easier to find the perfect holiday villa for you, we recommend selecting your required number of bedrooms from the drop down box in Step 2.
This will limit the villas show in the listings to only those that meet your required number of bedrooms. Although you can "Show All Bed Types", this could result in a large number of villas to sift through.
Generally, a 5 bedroom villa will sleep 10 adults, a 4 bedroom 8 adults and so on.
3. Changing the order that the villa listings are assembled
To make it even easier to find the perfect villa for you, we have provided a drop-down box to allow you to order the villa listings.
Even when specifying your required number of bedrooms as covered above, you may still be offered several pages of villas that suit your needs. By ordering the list using this drop-down box, you can bring your most suited or most desired villas to the top of the list.
4. Searching for a specific Holiday Villa by its name
We find that most of our customers come back year after year and many of them like to stay in the same villa. In addition, villas are regularly recommended by friends or family.
To make it faster to find a specific villa, you can now search our database to look for a holiday villa by its name.
Although the Villa Name Search will only look for your specified villa within the location you currently have selected, it disregards the number of bedrooms you have selected and looks for any villa in our database that loosely matches the villa name you search for. You can go back to the regular list of villas by re-selecting your bedroom preference from the "Bedroom Requirement" drop-down box.
5. Viewing your customized list of luxury villas
For your convenience, there will be a reminder of your current search settings above each page of results in the green box.
Use the page numbers to navigate through the list of villas. To keep load times at acceptable levels, we have limited the number of results to 5 villas per page.
Now you can be sure that you are only viewing villas that totally suit your requirements!
6. Start checking out the villas!
Now you can start going through the lists of villas, clicking the "More Info..." buttons or the thumbnail images to view the full details pages for each villa which includes loads more photos, a full write up and of course all of the nightly and special value package rates.
Note that once you have viewed the full details of a holiday villa, its name on the listing card will turn green so that you know which ones you have already seen.
You can also hover your mouse over the little icons on the left of the listing "cards" for more info about what each icon represents.
Now stop reading all this and go back to the listings page and find your perfect holiday villa!! ;)
