Luckily for you, on Koh Samui, there’s a weather type for everyone—with consistently warm temperatures to go with them. After all, you don’t want to be your own “something blue” on your wedding day!

You’ll typically find the most exceptional weather occurs between January and March as this is Thailand’s dry and hot season, and the weather tends to be more predictable during this timeframe.

April can be lovely for a wedding, however, it very much depends upon your tolerance to heat. Mainly because April is known as being the hottest month of the year in Thailand and whilst 35°c weather sounds lovely for your wedding day, when you’re wearing a 3-piece suit or a layered bridal gown, the temperature can soon creep up and become uncomfortable.

May to September is a favourable time for a wedding on the island of Koh Samui, with clear skies and warm temperatures as the standard. However, the weather can change quickly and as there’s the odd day of rain here and there, it can be a gamble as to what type of weather you'll have!

Late September to early December are the quieter months of wedding season on Koh Samui, mainly due to the unpredictability of the weather during the wet season. But because of this, there are some incredible deals to be found, so it all depends upon the type of ceremony and celebration you’re looking to have!
