Baan Kata Keeree stands on a rocky promontory at the southern tip of Kata, looking back across the whole bay. Its terrace runs over two levels with a pool on each, one cascading down into the other. The upper is 12 by 5 metres with a Jacuzzi and a swimming jet current, if you actually want to swim rather than float. The lower is a six seater rock Jacuzzi that doubles as a paddling pool for small children. This villa is in a private hideaway in the hills in Kamala, set right over the ocean. It has fantastic views over the Andaman Sea. The infinity pool has a beautiful terrace and the relaxation area also has a sunken whirlpool. There is an outdoor relaxation sala and an outdoor dining space too, so you can enjoy eating alfresco. Some of the bedrooms are at pool level and even have their own outdoor bathtubs. Bliss.
Sunset Pool Villa is elevated above the southern end of Patong beach, with panoramic views over Patong Bay from every room. The pool is a free form, two tier design facing straight out to the ocean, with generous terracing around it for sun loungers and an al fresco dining set.
