Our Newest Luxury Villas in Koh Samui
At Thailand Retreats we are always looking out for new villas in Koh Samui that meet the standards to join our portfolio.
We have recently added two absolute gems to our list enjoying two completely different aspects of the beautiful island of Koh Samui - one in the stunning and scenic south west corner enjoying a tranquil waterfront position and the other nestled in the hills just minutes away from the lively town of Chaweng.
Villa Renaissance is situated in the area of Taling Ngam in the south west corner of Koh Samui. The name translates as ‘beautiful shore’ and is an area of natural beauty. If you want to stay away from the tourist areas in a very secluded and beautiful enclave, this could be the luxury holiday villa choice for you.
The beaches in this area are pristine, shrouded by jungle and lined with palm trees, with excellent views of the Angthong Marine National Park.
This private Koh Samui villa is set on a grassy hillside slping down to the water surrounded by mountains and jungle. Every room has idyllic ocean views across the bay and the lush green forest surroundings allow you to retreat away from it all and enjoy nature.?
It is a short walk down to the beach where the villa has it’s own private pier - something you will not find with other villas. There will be paddleboards waiting at the pier for you, so you can hop on and go for an adventure. At low tide you can walk across to Phang Ka beach with a scattering of beach hut style accommodation and rustic Thai restaurants.
The villa itself has been designed with indoor/outdoor tropical living in mind, balinese wood and himalayan stone have been used to create a traditional and elegant feel.
The bathrooms are exquisite with walk in rain showers and petal filled circular bath tubs with sea and waterfall views. The whole family can relax here, it has an infinity pool, media room and spacious decking. A great spot to enjoy a sundowner or two. The sunset views are not to be missed.
Both a Thai chef and Villa Manager are on hand to make sure your stay is everything you want it to be. The Villa Manager can arrange for a boat to pick you up from the private pier. You could go fishing, explore the Angthong National Marine Park or take a ride to Nikki Beach for Sunday Brunch. All Villa Renaissance guests receive a 20% discount at the Nikki Beach Club in Samui.
Also in the area are other dining options like the famous Five Islands Beachside Seafood Restaurant and the Conrad Resort which is practically next door. The Five Islands is an Asian Fusion restaurant located directly on the beach, a lovely place to spend the evening.
There is a Muay Thai gym and yoga practice in the area too. You can take a glimpse at a traditional fishing village in the nearby Phang Ka, but it’s a 20 to 30 minute car ride to the nearest town of Nathon and it’s an hour from Chaweng.
Should you decide to book the villa for the Christmas or New Year family holiday the villa management will suprise any children with a Christmas gift and Nikki Beach the famous Beach Club further up the west coast will present you with complimentary Champagne.
Karpe Diem is an exceptionally well designed four bedroom contemporary style hillside villa with beautiful views of the ocean and over the beaches of Chaweng Noi.
One of the best feaures of this villa is that has two infinity pools to enjoy. One of which is accessible directly from the master bedroom so you can take a quick dip as soon as you wake up.
The other pool onthe main living level of the villa has its own swim up bar and BBQ area.
The staff here are wonderful and if you require, you can also book the services of the chef for your entire stay. The staff will happily mix your favourite cocktail and serve it by the pool.
The villa is only a short 5 minute drive from the Royal Samui Golf Club and also 5 minutes drive from a secluded beach cove. It’s in a peaceful and quiet area, if you want to try the more lively Chaweng and Lamai, they are both less than 15 minutes drive away.
The villa is so stylish, you could feel you’ve stepped into an interior design magazine spread. It would be hard not to relax here, but if you need some extra help the villa manager will happily arrange an in-villa massage for you to melt away any last bit of tension.
