Our Newest Luxury Villas in Koh Samui
At Thailand Retreats we are always looking out for new villas in Koh Samui that meet the standards to join our portfolio.
Three of our newest Koh Samui villas could not be more different from one another. One sits in the hills above Chaweng with two infinity pools, one up in the Choeng Mon hills with a cinema room and a rooftop barbecue terrace, and one directly on the sand on the island’s quiet west coast.

Karpe Diem is an exceptionally well designed four bedroom contemporary style hillside villa with beautiful views of the ocean and over the beaches of Chaweng Noi.
One of the best feaures of this villa is that has two infinity pools to enjoy. One of which is accessible directly from the master bedroom so you can take a quick dip as soon as you wake up.
The other pool onthe main living level of the villa has its own swim up bar and BBQ area.
The staff here are wonderful and if you require, you can also book the services of the chef for your entire stay. The staff will happily mix your favourite cocktail and serve it by the pool.
The villa is only a short 5 minute drive from the Royal Samui Golf Club and also 5 minutes drive from a secluded beach cove. It’s in a peaceful and quiet area, if you want to try the more lively Chaweng and Lamai, they are both less than 15 minutes drive away.
The villa is so stylish, you could feel you’ve stepped into an interior design magazine spread. It would be hard not to relax here, but if you need some extra help the villa manager will happily arrange an in-villa massage for you to melt away any last bit of tension.
What’s not to like?
Villa Gaya is the most generously equipped of the five bedroom houses on its Choeng Mon estate, and the one that gives a group the most to do without leaving the property. All five bedrooms have king beds, which is rare at this size and worth knowing if you are travelling as couples rather than families.
Alongside the nine by five metre pool there is a cinema room and a rooftop sea view terrace with a barbecue. The rooftop is the part guests remember, because it takes the cooking away from the pool deck and gives everyone a second outdoor space entirely. There is also a basketball shooting court, shared with the villa next door.
Villa de Sunset sits directly on the sand at Nathon, on the quieter west coast of the island, with almost 50 metres of beach frontage to itself. Nathon is Koh Samui’s original town, home to the main pier and the night market, where the fishing boats still come in each morning and the pace is a good deal slower than Chaweng or Bophut.
The villa has six bedrooms sleeping eight adults and four children, a nine by four metre pool, and a beachfront pavilion set in the garden between the house and the sea. Being on the west coast, this is also the side of the island that gets the sunset.
