Jia Villa

Jia Villa is a beachfront villa set on a long stretch of secluded coastline overlooking the Andaman Sea, part of the Jivana Villas estate, one of the very few genuinely beachfront villa collections available for private rental in Phuket, in a stretch of coastline known locally as "millionaires' row" for its exclusive community of luxury properties favoured by expatriates living in the region.

Crystal clear waters and gentle waves lap at this stunning strip of coastline, backed by a tranquil rural landscape where fishing and farming remain the mainstay of the local population. Natai Beach is ideal for paddleboarding, kayaking and swimming, with the award winning Aleenta and Iniala Beach resorts just along the sand.

Located in Phang Nga, 25 minutes' drive north of Phuket airport on unspoiled Natai Beach, each of the three luxury villas at Jivana enjoys 6,400 square metres or more of land with 60 to 90 metres of beach frontage, giving a true sense of space and tranquility enhanced by the uncluttered gardens.

Jia is laid out across four pavilions: three host the bedrooms, each with pool and ocean views and an overall contemporary Thai style, while the fourth houses the kitchen and staff quarters.

Walking in through the entrance gate, a waterfall and its basin offer the first hint of the peacefulness found within. On either side of the entrance courtyard is the family room, complete with flat screen TV, DVD player and surround sound, a library and games table, and, opposite, the large, well equipped kitchen, fitted with a reverse osmosis water filtration tap for fresh drinking water at all times.

At the heart of the house is "The Great Room," a large open plan living and dining pavilion. Glass doors slide into pocket walls to maximise the indoor and outdoor feel, opening onto a covered deck with views over the pool, garden and ocean.

"The Great Room" sits between two further pavilions, each hosting three ensuite double bedrooms. From every terrace, guests look out onto the expansive lawn and untouched coconut grove. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with an outdoor garden, and two include outdoor black granite bathtubs. Rooms are fitted with satellite TV and DVD player, and wireless internet is available throughout.

One of Jia's standout features is the snooker room, tucked beneath the family room, a large space with a snooker table, comfortable seating and a projector screen for movie nights. The family room's mini bar keeps drinks and chef prepared snacks close at hand.

The 25 metre split level, black tiled infinity pool overflows into a shallow pool ideal for children, the centrepiece of the garden, complete with day beds and sun loungers. At one end is a covered dining sala, and guests' favourite spot is the sunset sala by the beach, used for massage, yoga, sundowners, or an afternoon siesta.
