The beach was right on our doorstep and the location was perfect, 5 minutes in a taxi to Fishermans village and 10 minutes in a taxi to Chaweng. The rooms at the villa were wonderful, as well as the pool and with 6 adults we never felt crowded. The views across the ocean were breathtaking, and sitting on the veranda sipping a cold beer was heaven. Some good restaurants within a few minutes walk,The Green leaf restaurant was our favorite, French bakery

What a house and what a location!! We spent two weeks at Villa Charmant and were gutted our holiday had to come to an end. Villa has been recently renovated and it is beautifully designed and furnished. Pool is a decent size, refreshing and on one end it is shallow enough that our 3 and 5 year olds could comfortably...

We have just reluctantly returned from a 9 day stay at Villa Charmant. We are a family of 5 with children ages 7,9 and 11.
The Villa was everything we hoped for and more. Close to the airport and Bohput, but in a lovely quiet spot with an almost deserted beach on our doorstep. Having such great access to the pool and beach was perfect for the family. We were able to take a short stroll down the beach in the evenings to enjoy some lovely local restaurants, and Ann had left many great recommendations for eating locally. We hired a car to explore the island for a couple of days, although everyone was always happy to return and relax at the Villa.
The Villa itself is just lovely - very well set up and spacious with lovely flow and a great outdoor area.
A big thank you to John who was stepping in as property manager - he was extremely helpful and lovely to deal with.
We were all very sorry to have to leave but will definitely return.

“Just Perfect”

We travelled as a group of 4 adults in March for a 3 week stay. Let me start my saying before we left we had already rebooked for next year. Yes this villa is really that good. The location is perfect with an open aspect across the beach. It is in a quiet location with sufficient good restaurants nearby. One hidden gem is the local fish and vegetable market which is at the other end of Bangrak- about 20 minutes walk. You can buy just caught prawns and tuna, and the lovely people there will fillet to your requirements.
Ann and Piwi were lovely and most helpful. Always available to email for advice. Ann arranged a boat trip with Boutique Yachting which was one of the best we have experience (and we have done quite a few). Nothing was a problem. We hired a car and this was handy for visiting other local towns, however you can survive easily without doing this. We are so looking back to returning next year.

Paradise

We stayed in Villa Charmant for 15 nights from 12/02/15- 26/02/15. First of all let me just say February is the perfect time to visit Koh Samui, we had amazing weather the entire trip. Ann the owner was great to deal with throughout the whole booking process.

On walking into the villa we were blown away by the view looking out of the lounge doors! You are literally on the beach! Everything in the villa was exactly as the photos online, it had all the facilities you will need and the aircon worked great (definitely needed in that heat). The master bedroom as previous reviews have said is gorgeous!

We were a family of 6 (3 couples) and the villa was fine for this amount of people, it works well having the choice of beach or pool as that way you can spread out so the garden doesn't feel to crowded. We had lots of fun in the pool and the beach was just gorgeous, its so nice to just open your gate in the morning and being able to walk straight onto the beach and into the sea.

Piwi the housekeeper was great, she helped with any questions we had and one night when we had a power cut she came out at 9pm at night to sort this out for us straight away which was much appreciated.

The area the villa is located is perfect, lots of local restaurants and a few bars but the beach is quiet which is exactly what we wanted. Fisherman's village (recommend highly) and Chaweng are both only a short taxi ride away if you want more nightlife or a change of scenery.

Definitely don't miss the night market at Fisherman's village every Friday night. A trip to Secret Garden (you can walk up the beach on your right) for the Sunday night Jazz is fun, you can reserve a table as it does get busy. I definitely recommend a visit to Frenchy's restaurant ( go out the villa and turn right, walk up the road and its on the opposite side of the road), great food cooked by Patrick the chef and also really good wine at very reasonable prices.

Trips - We done a few trips, our fave was prob the day trip to Anthong with 360 degrees East, such a good day out. Staff were great and I loved that the boat only takes 12 people, they arrange the time you visit places around all the other bigger tour boats so most of the time we arrived at the tour stops we were the only boat there which was brilliant.

We had an amazing time in Koh Samui and Villa Charmant played a massive part in this, We definitely would love to go back and stay in Villa Charmant again. Time to get saving for our next trip! :)

We just got home after spending 12 days at this stunning villa and we had the best time ever! I can recommend it to anyone! February is the best time to go there - the only thing that bothered a bit was the mosquitos the last two days - but other than that - paradise!
Thanks Peter, Ann & Piwi - you helped to make my 40th unforgettable. Blessings to you all.
