Villa Suma

Villa Suma is a contemporary beachfront villa located on the quiet southern coast of Koh Samui at Laem Sor Beach. Set directly on the sand, the villa enjoys sweeping views across the bay towards the nearby island of Koh Tan and the Thai mainland. The surrounding area offers a peaceful atmosphere that reflects the earlier days of Koh Samui, with coconut plantations, quiet coastal roads and small traditional villages still forming part of everyday life.

The villa has been designed across two levels with modern architecture, open living spaces and elegant furnishings that create a relaxed and comfortable environment for guests. Six bedrooms and a dedicated children’s bunk and playroom provide generous accommodation for larger families or groups travelling together. Three bright en-suite bedrooms are located on the ground level, each opening onto a landscaped courtyard.

Across the courtyard are the villa’s open plan living and dining spaces. The dining area comfortably seats twelve guests, while the spacious living room features oversized sofas and a multimedia entertainment system for relaxing evenings. Floor-to-ceiling doors open onto the outdoor terrace where views extend across the infinity pool and directly out to the sea.

The beachfront terrace provides an ideal space for outdoor living, whether relaxing in the comfortable seating areas or enjoying meals while looking out across the ocean. An additional “moonlight terrace” offers a cosy space with oversized cushions where guests can enjoy the evening breeze and watch the stars.

Dining experiences at the villa can be tailored to personal preference. Breakfast with fresh tropical fruit is served daily and can be enjoyed in various locations around the villa. The villa’s modern kitchen is fully equipped, although most guests prefer to enjoy meals prepared by the private chef, who can create both Thai and international dishes.

The beachfront infinity pool stretches along the edge of the property and is positioned just steps from the sand. Guests can enjoy the calm waters of Laem Sor Beach, use the available kayaks and paddleboards or arrange jet ski excursions along the coast.

Bedrooms are distributed across the ground and upper floors to maximise both privacy and sea views. The master suite features a king bed, seating area and a 40-inch television, along with impressive views over the pool and Laem Sor Bay. Its terrazzo bathroom includes a spacious bathtub designed for two. A children’s bunk room connects conveniently to one of the bedrooms, allowing parents to stay close to younger guests while maintaining separate sleeping areas.

All bedrooms are spacious and bright with king beds, Egyptian cotton linens and contemporary furnishings designed for comfort and relaxation. A dedicated villa team manages the property, including housekeeping staff and an English-speaking villa manager who can assist with planning excursions, arranging activities and recommending local dining.

Despite its secluded beachfront setting, Villa Suma is within easy reach of many of Koh Samui’s main attractions. Lamai Beach is a fifteen minute drive away, while Chaweng Beach can be reached in approximately thirty minutes. Nathon town is twenty minutes away and the international airport is around forty minutes by car.
