Cape Yamu is on the east coast of Phuket about 40 minutes drive from the popular tourist beaches of the west and just a short drive from the colourful Phuket Town.

Cape Yamu is an "Little Italy" shaped peninsular jutting out on to the beautiful Phang Nga bay overlooking a number of small islands on the north east coast of Phuket. The whole area has fantastic views.

Only recently discovered for it's potential at the turn of the century, the Cape Yamu peninsula has been transformed from a wooded piece of plantation land into a beautiful haven of prestigious high end estates hosting amazing luxury villas with stunning views that certainly have the wow factor and our villas on The Cape estate particularly have lawns that tumble down to the sea.

These high end luxury villas have now been made available for short term holiday rental and we include a number of these in our portfolio. There is a stretch of beach on the north side of the peninsula, however, as the access is via a a secure gate to the luxury villas the beach which is just sand bordered by trees is private to each of the villas

The furthermost point and on the tip of Cape Yamu is the home of the 75 room Como Point Hotel and amongst other great amenities nd fun attractions features their own Beach Club on a small island accessed by a 20 minute longboat trip. However numbers are limited to 40 and therefore a booking is necessary.

Our guests staying at the at Cape Yamu villas have access to the hotel facilities with a small fee.

With luxury villas and a luxury hotel comes an upmarket restaurant and the Breeze Restaurant is worth a visit and this is located just outside the entrance to the Cape Villas.

As the area enjoys close access to the yacht cruising and island-hopping wonders of Phang Nga Bay a public pier in the village (Yamu Pier) services the speed boat tours available to take tourists ion boat trips to enjoy the stunning scenery.

Mission Hills golf club is just 15 kilometres away. The serene Bang Pae waterfall and the Gibbon Rehabilitation Centre within the Khao Phra Thaeo National Park nearby offer an inland attraction for families seeking an alternative to beach excursions, while Thalang Museum (8km) gives a modest yet insightful look into Phuket’s culture and past.

It takes 40 minutes to get to the popular west coast beaches of Surin and Bang Tao and 20 minutes from the colourful capital of Phuket Town and the Central Festival - the largest shopping mall in Phuket.
