Thailand has certainly long since shaken off its image of being a destination just for backpackers and travellers. Many luxury hotel brands have been investing in Thailand and for several years now we’ve been listing exclusive and luxurious villas across Koh Samui, Phuket, Koh Phangan and Krabi.
We’re not the only one’s who have fallen in love with Thailand. It’s been visited by several A-listers wanting to hideaway and soak up the beautiful surroundings with a hammock and a sundowner. Thailand Villas are perfect private boltholes for the rich and famous.

Edward ‘Bear’ Grylls has bought a private villa on the exclusive Kata Rocks estate in Phuket. The villa Amanzi on the headland between Kata beach and Kata Noi beach. UK artist Damien Hirst has reportedly been spotted at the Ayara Hilltop resort near Surin. Whilst Brad and Angelina and Simon Le Bon and his family are said to have stayed at the Amanpuri in Phuket. Jenson Button & Lewis Hamilton Koh Samui
Koh Samui is popular with the jet set and both racing drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button are reported to have spent a vacation in Koh Samui. Jenson apparently chose the Santiburi Resort with its exceptional golf course. Mick Jagger, Koh Samui
There was a last minute unexpected visit by Mick Jagger in 2003 - he too staying at the Santiburi Resort and his stay coincided with the Sonkran festivities (Thai New Year) and had a good time joining the celebrations.
Richard Gere & Carey ,Koh Samui
Both Richard Gere and his wife Carey Lowell are practising Buddhists and their trip to Koh Samui provided the peace and tranquility found at the Banyan Tree Resort, one of the most exclusive resorts on the island near Lamai in the southeast coast of the Island.
