Villa Akira is a luxury villa set in the hills of Laem Yai that takes the term 'uninterrupted views' to a whole new level with some of the best views on Samui.
This spacious villa has been beautifully designed to maximize the wow factor of its location and spectacular, unparallelled views of Nathon Bay. The layout and the size of the property make it ideal for large families and couples sharing and the outdoor living areas are ideal for celebrations and entertaining.
On the entrance level to the villa you will find three, private, covered off- road parking spaces with double wooden doors opening onto a small terrace and a small private garden that leads down to the swimming pool. The covered entrance to the villa has double doors that open into the main living/dining area.
The views from the enormous picture window in the main living area simply breathtaking with two double patio doors leading onto a balcony where the incredible views can be enjoyed. Bedroom four that is accessed from the lounge shares the same spectacular views.
Behind the living area two further patio doors open onto a balcony with seating for four people where again the incredible view can be taken in.
Beyond this area you will find the modern, western style kitchen with a breakfast bar for two and a gas hob and all the amenities you would expect to find in a kitchen of this standard.
Behind the kitchen area is a large dining table that can comfortably seat up to ten diners who can enjoy a meal with the incredible views this villa offers as a backdrop.
Beyond the dining area is a comfortable outdoor seating area that enjoys more panoramic views of the bay and the infinity edge pool. There is a guest WC on this level and a staircase that leads up to the second level.
On the second level you will find a hallway that leads to the master suite at the end of which is a seating area for two. The master bedroom enjoys incredible views and has an en-suite bathroom with 'his' and' her' sinks, a rain shower and a Jacuzzi tub.
Bedrooms two and three can be found at the end of a window lined corridor that overlooks the front of the property. Bedrooms two and three have ocean views with en-suite bathrooms with rainwater showers.
Steps on the living level take you down to the large infinity pool that has a jacuzzi at one end and the deep end at the other. There is a good size sun terrace around the pool where you can relax and enjoy the views.
Adjacent to the pool is a large covered outdoor living area serviced by a second western kitchen/bar area, a BBQ and a second dining table. On this level you will also find a games area with a pool table and table football as well as a further lounge area with a home theatre.
Bedroom five is accessed from the games area and has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom.
Villa Akira has been fitted out with top quality, imported fixtures and fittings and has been designed and built to highest specifications and has been a passion of the owner to create an ideal holiday villa for couples or families sharing.
Villa Akira is located in the up and coming area of Bang Po and elevated above Koh Samui's main ring road that stretches around the north and west of the island.
In one direction with a 5-10 mins drive is the administrative, ferryport and working town of Nathon - the capital of Koh Samui providing tourist shops, cafes and markets. Travelling west in the other direction you will find the nearest beach 5-10 mins drive away which is lined with rustic style restaurants serving both Thai and international dishes. Some of the restaurants also provide sunloungers if refreshments have been taken so can you relax and enjoy the stunning views.
The smaller town of Maenam is a further 10 minutes away offering a small choice of restaurants and services.
The popular tourist spot of Fisherman's village is within 25 minutes of the villa. Here you will find a good choice of quality restaurants, cocktail bars, pubs and coffee bars as well as some boutique style shopping. For nightlife lastng until the early hours of the morning it will mean a 45 minute frive to teh town of Chaweng.

TEMPORARY REVISED CANCELLATION POLICY- CODIV-19 - New bookings
This applies to all new bookings for all our managed villas guests can postpone their stay if they are unable to travel due to government Covid-19 travel restrictions for a period of up to 6 months for domestic travel and 12 months for international. Postponement requests can be made up
until the day prior to arrival at the villa.
Please note no refunds will be considered and this policy does not apply in cases where guests have simply decided not to travel.
In cases where guests have chosen not to travel our standard cancellation policy applies (see below)
Guests can of course claim off their travel insurance which according to
our terms and conditions they should all obtain and we will provide any
supporting evidence required.

STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY
Intermediate, High and Prime (i.e. not during Christmas, New Year or Chinese New year seasons):
Payment must be fully settled: 60 days prior to arrival, or if that date is already passed, then within 1 day of guest confirmation of intention to book.
We have a no-refund policy in the event of cancellation but if you cancel more than 60 days prior to arrival we will issue a credit note for the same villa valid for 9 months. If you cancel within 60 days of arrival all funds paid will be forfeited and a partial or full refund will only be made if we some or all of the dates are rebooked.
Guests can of course claim off their travel insurance which according to our terms and conditions they should all obtain and we will provide any
supporting evidence required.
Christmas and New Year, Chinese New Year period: For any cancellation after the deposit and/or balance payment, all payments are forfeited and a full or partial refund is solely applicable in the event that villa management secures another reservation covering partially or fully the initial and cancelled reservation. The above cancellation charges also apply if the villa management cancels the booking due to non-payment of the balance. If the dates of the booking require to be changed or amended, this may be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and cancellation charges may apply. Any change to the original reservation is subject to the approval of the Villa management
