Villa Beyond is an exclusive holiday villa sitting pretty on the mountainside and graced with fabulous views of Phuket's Bang Tao village and the Andamann sea. Hidden away on a private road just a few minutes from Bang Tao, this spacious nine-bedroom modern villa has plenty of style, luxurious comfort and privacy. Add to the mix a stunning infinity pool and friendly staff team, including a personal chef, and life is beyond perfect.

The nine bedroom suites provide discreet hideaways with large, comfortable beds and panoramic views, particularly the master suite with its massive soaker tub and jacuzzi, big enough for two.

Time at Villa Beyond stands still as days are spent swimming and sunbathing. A refreshing dip in the infinity pool or a lazy afternoon lounging on the terrace to the sound of the waterfall will soothe away any worries.

Villa Beyond is accessed via a flight of steps leading up to the second floor between the pool and the dining terrace. Glass doors open into the generous open-plan living, dining, kitchen and drinks bar area. To the side of this central living space is a cosy TV corner lounge with massive TV and a sunlit massage room that can double up as a gym or even a kids’ bedroom if extra sleeping space is needed. There is also a Ping Pong table or Mahjong table that can be set up in this room.

On the villa’s lower level are two guest bedrooms with sea and garden
views. Four more bedrooms are located on the third level, including the spectacular master suite. On the top level of the villa accessed separately are the remaining three bedrooms with sea views and access to the llawned terrace.

Villa Beyond’s open-plan living, dining and kitchen area encompasses most of the second level. Large comfortable sofas provide plenty of space for watching movies on the 60-inch TV in the cosy corner lounge, or gazing out over the infinity pool and ocean. Panels of glass doors across the front of the living area fold back to create a tropical indoor–outdoor feel.

A drinks bar faces the western-style kitchen, which is equipped with everything necessary for the chef to cook up feasts for guests to enjoy at the 12-seater bespoke dining table.

Off the living area is a massage room with lovely views and double glass doors opening to the pool. This room can also be used as a small gym or extra bedroom for children or as a play room with a Ping Pong table or Mahjong table

The 16*4-metre infinity pool and two sun terrace merge with a promise of total relaxation. Crystal clear water cascades down the sides of the pool to the level below and loungers provide comfort on a sleepy afternoon.

A 12-seater outdoor dining table set below a white’ sail’ shade offers an informal venue for lazy breakfast and starlit suppers. On the rooftop is well-kept lawn and shaded terrace

The villa’s nine generously sized air-conditioned bedrooms are arranged over three levels offering discreet, private accommodation and most having ocean views.  King-sized beds and chaise longues provide luxury and comfort and large windows flood the rooms with natural light. Every room is ensuite and fitted with a dressing area and sound system.

Along with breakfast and drinks. A full wine and spirits menu is also available. The chef is happy to make suggestions for Thai dishes, and will shop at local market for the freshest ingredients. If you have any special requests or dietary needs, just let the chef or villa manager know.

Food and drinks are charged at market price with an additional 20% service fee. Villa guests are requested to pay for groceries in advance, and staff will present the receipts. Guests are encouraged to plan their meals together with the villa chef, ideally a day in advance to allow staff time to shop, buy groceries and prepare the dishes.

With its generous indoor and outdoor space, Large TV corner, and stunning swimming pool, Villa Beyond is an idyllic destination for families holidaying together, particularly families with older children, who will love spending their days by the pool chilling to the sounds of the SONOS music system.

With nine bedrooms there should be more than enough space, but if more room is required four extra beds can be made up in the massage room or in a larger bedroom. For families with younger children, the villa manager can arrange for a babysitter (an extra charge applies) if parents fancy going out to discover Phuket’s nightlife.

Every guest bedroom has its own Sonos music system which you can log into from your phone or computer. Family movies in front of the huge TV in the living room are bound to be popular too, especially with those big comfy sofas to curl up on.

Make the most of the villa chef, who will conjure up kid-friendly dishes for the fussiest of eaters. And having a blender on-site means healthy smoothies and baby food are easily made.

There are a number of fun and interesting things to do in Phuket for families, from watching a show to taking a boat trip. Check out the options available, there’s a book at the villa with lots of ideas. The villa manager can also make suggestions as they know the island inside out and can make all the arrangements.

Guests at Villa Beyond have the full attention of a team of four staff, including a villa manager, Thai chef and housekeepers. Guests are invited to let the villa manager know if they would prefer the staff to be present at all times or to be available on a more discreet basis. The villa manager is full-time and speaks perfect English. A full concierge service is available and arrangements can be made for dining and service requirements in villa, and assistance with booking transport, tours, and other activities around Phuket.

The English-speaking Thai chef is available from 7am until 9pm and will prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. A suggestion menu offers a delicious selection of Thai and Western dishes, but the chef is happy to receive requests. Meals may be modified to your tastes and special dietary requirements can be accommodated. A housekeeper is on-site throughout the day to keep everything clean and tidy, she also helps in the kitchen and with the dining service and security staff patrol the estate 24 hours a day

Bang Tao village is a peaceful residential area populated mostly by fisherfolk where life revolves around a big golden-spired mosque. There are no stores or services in the village, so car hire is essential for shopping trips, dining out and exploring the island.

A three-kilometre drive south-west of the villa will bring you to sparking Surin Beach, an 800m stretch of fine sand that has been cleared of all commercial activity and restored to its natural state. About three kilometres to the north of Villa Namaste is peaceful Bang Tao beach, a postcard vision of tropical bliss with white sands, sun beds and a host of water sports including windsurfing and paddle boarding. Families will enjoy mini golf and nearby family-friendly beach clubs offering all day dining with occasional live performances and international music acts
