Villa Malouna is a brand new luxury Koh Samui beachfront vacation villa inspired by a Japanese zen style and built to blend in perfectly with the island's natural environment. Set on tranquil Laem Noi beach in the north west coast of Koh Samui offers 45m of beach frontage and stunning views over to the neighbouring island of Koh Phangan.

A short swim or kayak from the beach will reach a colourful coral reef - ideal for snorkeling in addition to keeping the waters calm and safe for children at the beach. First thing in the morning you may see fishermen lay their nets for the day's catch and in the evening the pool and poolside side terraces provide a perfect viewpoint for the exquisite sunsets this part of the island enjoys.

At the entrance large gates and high walls border the villa's secluded tropical garden filled with frangipani and paradise bird flowers and you feel you are immediately enveloped in serenity.

Four of the six bedrooms are accessed from this green area - two bedrooms located at garden level and two bedrooms up a staircase to an upper level. Both sets of bedrooms en-suite comprise of a bedroom with king size bed and a twin bedroom which also has an additional slide out bed.

Pathways from the garden area lead to 3 ocean facing pavilions housing the open kitchen and dining area, the vast lounge two poolside bedrooms.

The dining and kitchen pavilion has white terrazzo floors and floor to ceiling sliding doors on 2 sides with the remaining walls being predominently black with striking artwork each making a distinctive statement.

The vast lounge also has the white floors but with slide back glass walls on 3 sides and a feature floor to ceiling teak library to take your pick of the large number of books for that beachside holiday reading. A built in fully equipped media system is there for your entertainment and a super large corner style sofa allows you to sprawl out to relax and enjoy the stunning views over the pool and beyond.

The poolside bedroom pavilion houses the master bedroom and an adjacent twin bedroom with an additional slide out bed.

The 27m swimming pool is the heart of the villa and perfect for both laps or just relaxing dips in the refreshing water and it also incorporates a small shallow area for children to splash about in. At one end of the pool there is a square shaped sunken lounge strategically positioned to enjoy an early evening cocktail watching the sun go down under the cool ocean breeze.

The expansive wooden decking surrounding the pool is equipped with parasols under which lay specially designed silver grey beanbag type loungers that mould around you giving the upmost comfort and these are easily transported on to the lawn in front of the pool or on to the beach.

Lastly but not least is the welcome feature of the children's dormitory and play room conveniently and safely tucked away behind the kitchen and dining pavilion and not to close to the swimming pool. The room can house up to 8 children in bunk beds and a spacious play area with a floor to ceiling black chalkboard for the kids to express their creativity as well as plenty of toys and books to keep them enertained.

Villa Malouna not only offers the perfect to relax but plenty of options to be active such as exploring the bay with the complimentary kayaks and paddleboards.  The infinity edge swimming pool is great for fun water games as well as doing some serious laps and pool deck or lawns make the ideal place to practice yoga, high intensity workout or Thai kick boxing, all of which can be accommodated by the villa with a private teacher, upon request.

The bay here is also a special place for a kite surfer as there is a nice sea breeze over the lagoon most of the time of the year.

A Covid-19 Safety Programme 

A programme to further enhance our cleaning procedures is to fully sanitise every villa after the guests have checked out giving all future guests further peace of mind during these uncertain times and will include the following procedures:

• Pre-arrival deep clean and full sanitization by staff in PPE using electrostatic sprayers and hospital grade disinfectants
• Staff to wear face masks made to order (unless guests request otherwise)
• Face masks available for guests on request
• Compulsory temperature check for all villa staff at the beginning of every day. Any staff with a temperature higher than 37.5C sent home told to self-isolate and seek medical advice.
• Compulsory temperature check on any contractors or agents entering the villa and recorded in villa book which MUST be completed.
• All high-touch items sanitized twice daily such as handles, knobs, light switches, faucets etc
• Sanitize bathrooms twice daily
• Bedroom door sealed after deep clean and sanitization and no-one is to enter until the guest breaks the seal on arrival
• Hand sanitizers in common areas
• Wet alcohol sanitizer wipes in guest bedrooms
• Paper towels only in common toilets with peddle bin
• Air-cons small filter cleaned after every booking and large filters as deemed necessary I.e after every three bookings
• Temperature checks on guests on arrival
