Absolute delight

Visited with the kids for a week and found it absolutely delightful. The villa was well set out, roomy and had air con in the bedrooms. We had the 3 bed, 2 level villa at the front and it was light and airy with plenty of space. The gardens are well kept, the pool perfect for kids and adults and the manager is very helpful. Compared to many in the area it is the best around. Unlike other lodgings we had no walk ins off the beach as you are on an outcrop which is not accessible other than through the car park or private gate from Relax @ Samui. Having the restaurant next door was also a real bonus, they deliver to the villa and give you a 10% discount to boot. Loved our stay and couldn't fault anything.

Fabulous place. Spacious clean villa. Well kept grounds. Lovely pool with view. Smaller part of pool under cover all day- great for keeping pale English children out of the hottest of the sun.

Location perfect for us- away from the crazy busy main towns, but this is Samui- never far from food! Relax restaurant/cafe next door great with lovely sunset views and beach view.

Within 5 mins walk 5 or 6 places to eat, and 7 eleven for supplies.

We had a car, probably worthwhile.

Recommended for those seeking peace and quiet and a tropical house. Not in the thick of it.

Couldn't recommend highly enough! Well done Baan Laem Noi!!

Remote paradise in Samui

If you want to hide away from hustle bustle of noisy east coast beaches of Samui this is the place to be. Baan Laem Noi Villas is a paradise garden sheltering 7 cosy houses.

My boyfriend and I stayed in two of them. Both villas have everything one might need for comfortable living (I was especially happy with very well equipped kitchens that allowed us to cook our own seafood and smoothies from fresh groceries bought at the evening market in Nathon). Each house is fully furnished and beautifully decorated in Thai style.

There is no beach for swimming on the territory of the property, so you have to go out and walk to the left approx. 5 min to access Bang Po beach. However, during our stay we experienced low-tide, so the sea was very shallow in the area and seaweed from the bottom was floating on the surface, which was no big deal to some people for just bathing, but we drove to Maenam to swim for real.

The area of Bang Po is quite far from main attractions of the island. There are a few restaurants and cafes by the beach next to the villas, only one massage place, and nearest 7-Eleven is 1 mile away. It's not very touristy so if you still want to go out once in a while or buy groceries, some sort of vehicle is recommended.

Phorn, the manager of the place, was extremely helpful and was ready to assist us with anything we needed (arrangements regarding transport, shopping, massage, etc)

Overall our experience at Baan Laem Noi was absolutely enjoyable. We are looking forward to coming back.
