Ban Sairee is a stunning villa and is a slice of paradise for families set in large lawn gardens in a beach-front position and located on more or less your own private cove as part of the quiet Laem Sor beach on the south coast of Koh Samui.

Accommodating up to 18 guests (14 adults and 4 children) the property is a perfect blend of traditional Thai and contemporary luxury. All pavilionsare constructed of panelled teak with elegantly gabled and tapered roofs, reflecting the beauty and perfect proportions of traditional Thai dwellings.

There is a choice of indoor and outdoor living and dining areas as well as salas in which to relax out of the mid-day sun or for pre-dinner drinks.

Ban Sairee comprises of 2 main pavilions one accommodating the master suite (Sairee Suite), 2 double guest bedrooms and a connecting children's bunk bedroom and the other has the main living area and 2 further guest double bedfooms and a connecting childrens bunk bedroom. All the bedrooms including the children's rooms are en-suite.

A further bedroom suite (Big Barn )is located in an enclave elevated in Thai design adjacent to the main house and enjoys sea views and a lounge area with comfortable seating with a shaded area below for relaxation. This is perfect for couple or parents looking for that extra privacy.

The 7th bedroom (Small Barn) is located to the rear of the main 2 pavilions and can either have twin beds or king size bed. The lower level of the barn has a table tennis table and a trampoline and is perfec for older kids.

Each of the bedrooms have air-conditioning, excellent quality matresses and beautifully appointed en-suites with baths or outdoor showers. There are also bi-fold doors and antique ceiling fans if you prefer to awaken to sea breezes and views.

All four pavilions have direct access to the secluded beach that lies beyond the expansive palm-shaded lawns. Between the villa and the beach, is the large swimming pool, with an overflowing infinity-edge that blends into the sea view. The pool has a shallow area for kiddies to play safely and is surrounded by a stone patio on 3 sides, with cushioned sun-loungers and parasols. A full-size fenced tennis court is located behind the villa, along with the staff house.

Absolutely amazing!! We are a family of 4 with two teenage boys and met up with another family of 4 with 2 teenage girls. There is so much space here that everyone can just find there own place to relax and get what they want out of their holiday.

The service is top class and the catering and meals is out of this world. Whilst the accommodation cost is up there you save a bundle by paying for them to shop locally and cook. Compare this to hotel restaurant rates and the food is so much better and the cost is amazing

The two villas are on a huge property with a great pool and sitting down by the private beach is total relaxation - night and day!

We had other friends around and June and the staff organized an amazing beach BBQ.

Unlike hotels the staff here are very intuitive as to when to approach you and when to give you your space. Wanted for nothing and while we don't usually like to go back to the same places we've been before, Baan

Best Way to Experience Koh Samui

The stunning property with its beautiful villas (complete with outdoor showers), pristine private beach (kayak out to the cove and see the blue crabs!) and infinity pool speaks for itself. The true highlight though was the incredible team of staff there, who were always so friendly and helpful. June, the villa manageress was amazing and took such good care of us, from tailoring our menu every day to arranging for our massage sessions in the sunset under the sala overlooking the beach. If you're staying here do not even bother going out for meals - our own private chef at the Villa cooked up a storm for us and it was some of the best Thai food we've ever had. Whether you're a couple or a family, this is the perfect place to stay in Ko Samui.

“Fantastic place for a family reunion”

The resort was recommended to us by a friend for our family reunion. It proved to be a perfect meeting place for our families who were travelling from three different countries. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff who offered us refreshing towels and icy drinks. We fell in love with the resort immediately.

The staff provided 5 star meals 3 times a day and every meal was served with great care and attention to detail. The tropical fruits were amazing! Every evening we felt as if we were dining in a 5 star Thai restaurant without having to go out to dinner! Meals were created to the children’s tastes as well as the adults. Every meal was a wonderful experience of flavours and foods but the outdoor, seafood BBQ dinner was an even more amazing experience. The staff erected colourful lanterns and lit flares on the beach to enhance the setting and then they helped us light Chinese lanterns which were set alight in the night sky…. a truly magical occasion and something we will always treasure.

The bedrooms were very inviting and roomy and the ceiling fans and air conditioning added to the level of luxury. Staff mysteriously turned down the beds in the late afternoon and lit candles to enhance the experience. The bathrooms complete with outdoor showers were a hit with everyone.

There was plenty to do or nothing to do, depending on your preferences for the day. Local trips were recommended and organised with ease. The swimming pool was beautiful by day and night; the use of the tennis courts provided opportunities for exercise and family competitiveness. The kayaks were great for just ‘getting away’ and enjoying the tropical waters around the resort. A favourite spot with everyone was the hammock overlooking the water! Sheer bliss….

Full credit must go to the Villa Manageress Jun, who along with her staff, help make this place run perfectly. They anticipate your every need and were always happy to provide local information or share their cooking tips with everyone. You need to pay every few days in cash for your meals and associated costs but Jun made it very easy for us to access local ATM’s when necessary.

We would recommend this resort to everyone and we hope we can return again sometime in the future.

Terms

CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENTS TO RESERVATION

If it becomes necessary to cancel the whole or any part of the booking by the Guests, SVH must be notified in writing in advance (email is acceptable). The cancellation will take effect from the date of the written confirmation is received by SVH.

The following cancellation charges will be applied depending on when the notification of the cancellation is received in writing by SVH and the period of stay in the Villa by the Guests:

20% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made 60 days or more before the arrival date.
50% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 30 and 60 days before the arrival date.
100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made 30 days or less before the arrival date.
A full or partial refund is subject to the discretion of SVH and solely applicable in the event that SVH secures another reservation covering partially or fully the initial cancelled reservation.

Christmas and New Year Periods:

For any cancellation after the deposit and/or balance payment, all payments are forfeited and a full or partial refund is solely applicable in the event that SVH secures another reservation covering partially or fully the initial and cancelled reservation.

3.1 Amendments

An admin fee of USD 50 will apply in the event of refund and amendment to reservation. The above cancellation charges also apply if SVH cancels the booking due to non-payment of the balance. If the dates of the booking require to be changed or amended, this may be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and cancellation charges may apply.
Any change to the original reservation is subject to the approval of SVH. An early departure penalty will be subject to negotiation with SVH local Representative's Manager.

3.2 Relaxed Cancellation Policy during COVID-19 Period

We understand that flexibility is required given the impact Coronavirus has on travel. In the event where your trip is disrupted due to COVID-19-related flight cancellations or travel restrictions, the below terms and conditions apply:

In the event your trip is disrupted, we will supply you with the necessary paperwork to file a claim with your travel insurance. If you are not covered by travel insurance, please refer to the policies on our managed villas below.

Cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before the date of arrival are eligible for a credit note for up to twelve (12) months from your original arrival date OR a cash refund of eighty percent (80%).
Cancellations made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date will be converted into a credit note for up to twelve (12) months from your original arrival date – no cash refund.
For peak season bookings: If you cancel anytime due to a COVID-related event, you will be provided with twelve (12) months credit from the original arrival date – no cash refund.

We will refund your booking or provide a credit note based on the following conditions:

Your country of residence issues a travel ban or a warning of ‘Do not travel’ (or the equivalent) to the destination booked.
Your flight is cancelled and alternatives are not available.
There is a government-enforced quarantine upon your return from one of our destinations.

Terms and Conditions:

Proof will be required before confirming eligibility to this clause.
Cash refund will be minus any fees that may be incurred for international remittance if requested.
Credit Note allows you to rebook the same villa during the same rate period (season) within twelve (12) months of your original arrival date. You may confirm your travel dates at a later point in time, as long as the stay is completed within twelve (12) months of the original check-in date.
The minimum length of stay shall also follow the period of the new dates;
Policy for new bookings apply for selected managed villas;
Extension of credit note validity may be requested subject to approval.

Location

Laem Sor is in the deep south with Laem Set to the east and to the west the area finishes at a headland, beyond which is Thong Krut a popular fishing village offering a small choice of restaurants and boat tour operators. This is a peaceful area chosen by visitors who just wish to enjoy chilling out with family or friends and experience the "real" Samui.
