Villa Shanti is a contemporary Thai style, 6 bedroom, all ensuite beachfront villa, one of three similar beach villas in a lovely setting on Natai Beach, Phang Nga, just 25 minutes from Phuket airport. Villa Shanti is one of the Jivana Villas, situated on a long stretch of secluded beach overlooking the Andaman Sea. The Jivana Villas are unique in that they are among the very few genuinely beachfront villas available in Phuket for private rental.
Located in Phang Nga, 25 minutes' drive north of Phuket airport on unspoiled Natai Beach, each of the three luxury villas enjoys 6,400 square metres or more of land with 60 to 90 metres of beach frontage, giving a true sense of space and tranquility enhanced by the stunning uncluttered gardens.
Shanti is laid out across five pavilions: two host the bedrooms, each with pool and ocean views and an overall contemporary Thai style, while the Great Room, family room and kitchen occupy the remaining pavilions.
Walking in through the entrance gate, a waterfall and its basin offer the first hint of the peacefulness found within. On either side of the entrance courtyard is the family room, complete with a 40 inch flat screen TV with satellite channels, sound system and library. Opposite is the large, well equipped kitchen, fitted with a reverse osmosis water filtration tap for fresh drinking water at all times.
At the heart of the house is "The Great Room," a large open plan living and dining pavilion. Glass doors slide into pocket walls to maximise the indoor and outdoor feel, opening onto a covered deck with views over the lap pool, garden and ocean.
"The Great Room" sits between two further pavilions, each hosting three ensuite double bedrooms. From every terrace, guests look out onto the expansive lawn and untouched coconut grove. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with an outdoor garden, and two include outdoor black granite bathtubs. The bedrooms are fitted with the finest amenities, with the owners favouring tranquility and relaxation over in room televisions. Wireless internet is available throughout the villa.
The 25 metre split level, black tiled infinity pool overflows into a shallow pool ideal for children, the centrepiece of the garden, complete with day beds and sun loungers. At one end is a covered dining sala, and guests' favourite spot is the sunset sala by the beach, used for massage, yoga, sundowners, or an afternoon siesta.
