Clay Beach Samui is a contemporary luxury beachfront estate located directly on Bophut Beach, offering a collection of beautifully designed villas with direct access to the sand and spectacular views across the Gulf of Thailand. With stylish interiors, tropical outdoor spaces and a choice of villa configurations, it provides an adaptable setting for everything from family holidays and couples' escapes to celebrations and larger group gatherings.
The estate offers 3, 4 and 5-bedroom configurations, while larger groups can combine villas into 10, 15 or 20-bedroom arrangements. Other configurations may also be available on request, giving guests the flexibility to select accommodation according to their group size and requirements.
Inside, the villas combine contemporary Asian-inspired design with natural timber, clay, brass and carefully selected artwork. High vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass doors create bright, open interiors, while comfortable living and dining areas provide plenty of space to relax together. The main pavilion features a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, while selected loft spaces include their own kitchenettes and dining areas.
The beachfront setting is best enjoyed outdoors, with spacious terraces, comfortable day beds and sun loungers surrounding four private pools. These include infinity pools overlooking the sea, a beachfront pool with built-in seating and Jacuzzi, and a private plunge pool. The villas also enjoy direct access to Bophut Beach, making it easy to move between the private pool areas and the tropical coastline.
Bedrooms are designed with comfort in mind and feature super king-size beds, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, 55-inch Smart TVs, walk-in wardrobes, safes and mini-bars. En-suite bathrooms include rain showers and twin sinks, with selected bedrooms offering natural stone bathtubs. The master pavilion bedrooms also benefit from sitting areas, floor-to-ceiling glazing and pool or sea views.
The loft-style bedrooms offer additional living space and their own distinctive character, with selected areas providing private outdoor spaces, kitchen facilities, pool access and elevated views across the estate towards the ocean.
Guests are looked after by a dedicated villa manager, housekeeping team, villa attendants, gardener and concierge, with daily housekeeping and Thai or continental breakfast included. A complimentary round-trip airport transfer is provided per booking, while private chef and butler services are available on request. The concierge can also arrange tours, excursions, transport, wellness treatments and other island experiences.
For those who enjoy being on the water, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are included, while additional activities and services such as yoga, Thai cooking classes, babysitting, massage treatments and motorised watersports can be arranged at an additional cost.

Bookings require a 50% deposit to pre-confirm, with the remaining balance due 30 days before arrival. Minimum stays apply by season, with longer minimum stays over Peak periods, Christmas & New Year, Chinese New Year and Easter. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival are non-refundable, while earlier cancellations may receive a credit subject to the applicable terms. Changes to dates, bedrooms or guest numbers are subject to availability and approval, with additional charges where applicable. Standard check-in is from 2pm and check-out by 11am; early check-in and late check-out may incur additional fees. A refundable security deposit of THB 30,000/US$1,000 is required at check-in.
Bophut is located in the north of Koh Samui between the Big Buddha in Bang Rak and Maenam and it is considered a popular place to stay near to or visit and a good compromise between the hustle and bustle of the larger east and south east coast towns and the more tranquil setting of the south and west coasts.
