A Phuket family holiday — your own pool, sea views and space for everyone.
Phuket is Thailand's easiest island for a family holiday — a big international airport, beautiful west-coast beaches, and everything from quiet sands to lively resort towns within easy reach. The trick is choosing a villa that gives the children space to play and the adults room to switch off.
We've arranged family villa stays in Phuket for over 20 years. Here's our hand-picked list of the best luxury family villas on the island for 2026, with what makes each one work for families — and where on the island to base yourselves.
What makes a Phuket villa right for families
Our 10 best Phuket family villas for 2026
1. Villa Narissa — Kamala, 7 bedrooms (sleeps 12 adults + 6 children)

Our most family-ready villa in Kamala comes with a separate kiddies' pool, a bunk room that sleeps six children, and two baby cots and high chairs already provided. Beyond the 20-metre infinity pool there's a gym and an entertainment room, so every age has somewhere to be. Best for families travelling with young children and teens together.
2. Villa Shanti — Natai, 6 bedrooms (sleeps 12 adults)

Right on the calm sands of Natai, Shanti pairs a 25-metre lap pool with a separate shallow children's pool, so the grown-ups can swim while the little ones paddle in sight. There's a dedicated family room indoors, and babysitters can be arranged on request. One of the safest beachfront settings we have for toddlers.
3. Naam Sawan — Cape Yamu, 5 bedrooms (sleeps 10 adults)

Tucked on a sheltered, calm bay on Phuket's quieter east coast, Naam Sawan is one of the most child-equipped villas in our collection: a 30-metre pool with a shallow children's section and swim-up bar, a home cinema, a games room and a tennis court. A baby cot and high chair are provided, kayaks and paddleboards are on hand, and babysitting can be arranged. Best for families who want gentle water away from the crowds.
4. Villa Anda — Kamala, 6 bedrooms (sleeps 12 adults)

An absolute-beachfront villa in Kamala with a pool that shelves gently from 20cm to 1.25m, designed for children to splash safely in view of the terrace. Inside there's a cinema room, a pool table and board games, and the kitchen will prepare children's menus. Babysitting can be added if you'd like an evening out.
5. Twin Villas Natai — Natai, 10 bedrooms (sleeps up to 22)

Two connected five-bedroom villas on the Natai beachfront, sleeping up to 22 — the answer when several families want to holiday together without losing their own space. There's a children's pool, two family rooms with adult-sized bunk beds, and a shared lawn with an outdoor play area and a tree swing, plus kayaks, bikes and beach volleyball. Best for large multi-family groups under one roof.

Frequently asked questions
What's the best area in Phuket for families?
Kamala is the easiest base for babies and toddlers — shallow, calm water and restaurants right on the sand. Bang Tao gives you space and plenty of dining, while Natai, Rawai and Cape Yamu are quieter and prettier. Tell us your children's ages and we'll narrow it down.
When is the best time to visit Phuket with children?
November to April, when the Andaman Sea is calmest and clearest for swimming — ideal for young children. The May–October green season is quieter and better value, with warm seas but livelier surf on some west-coast beaches.
Are the villas staffed?
Yes — a villa manager and daily housekeeping as standard, with a private chef on request. A chef is especially popular with families.
Are the pools safe for young children?
Many of our Phuket family villas have a shallow end or a separate children's pool — Villa Narissa, Villa Shanti, Naam Sawan, Villa Anda and Villa Aye among them. Let us know your children's ages and we'll point you to the right ones.
How many bedrooms does our family need?
As a guide, one bedroom per couple or pair of children, plus a ground-floor room for grandparents. Most family groups of 6–10 suit a 4–5 bedroom villa, while larger parties can take an estate such as Twin Villas Natai, which sleeps up to 22.
Can you arrange transfers, a chef and day trips?
Yes — once you book, our guest relations team handles airport transfers, a private chef, in-villa spa and day trips such as a boat charter or car hire.
